Pat Setley, E-RYT 500, RPYT, RCYT, YACEP

Patricia Setley is owner/instructor at YogaLove and is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with an approved and active Registered Yoga School (RYS).

After many years of multiple facets in group exercise ranging from aerobics to body pump, program manager, choreographer and mentor the appeal of yoga as stress reduction and inner peace became inviting.

It was at that time I began my yoga journey by becoming a certified yoga level II and pilates instructor with AAAI/ISMA.

Since that time, I have continued the study of yoga by completing the 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training at MOYO Yoga Studio in Skippack,PA. While in the process of completing the 200 hour training I also completed the requirements for certification and became a 500 hour Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance a national certification. Along the way I also had the opportunity to study under many experienced yogis, completing the YIN Teacher Training with Sarah Powers, and Restorative Yoga Teacher Training Level I & II with Jillian Pransky at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health. Additionally I have taken the Unnata Aerial Yoga Teacher training, with the founder Michelle Dortignac, thus adding another dimension to my teaching.

In 2014 I established Jade Yoga School a Yoga Alliance 200 Hr. RYS. The school offers a Hatha Flow based training and is listed on the Yoga Alliance web site. After completing the training students can register as a 200 Hr. RYT with Yoga Alliance.

In addition to the restorative benefits of practicing yoga I understand the need to incorporate the energy of universal wellness in all practices. To achieve this my training has included, Level I & II Reiki, and Pranic Training.

Throughout my years of teaching, I’ve had the pleasure to watch my students grow in their practice, seeing change occurring in their physical and mental well being, while growing in both their yin and yang practice.

Teaching in many venues allows me to remain present to the ever evolving world, whether it is bringing yoga to the corporate workplace, gym, studio setting or as a mentor, where I have found a great sense of satisfaction in assisting students to become teachers. In addition, many students, who are parents, have seen the benefits of yoga, and wanting to share this experience have encouraged their children to begin participating in a yoga program at an early age. With this in mind, I obtained my Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher and Registered Children Yoga Teacher certifications with Yoga Alliance, and I began teaching Kid’s yoga, Family yoga, Prenatal yoga and Mommy’s and Me yoga.

It is my belief that one should live life fully with compassion while teaching and honoring the students and myself, while realizing that learning is ongoing as we share and help each other to understand and grow.

Namaste,

Pat

Brianna Cummins, RYT-200

I began practicing yoga after entering recovery from my struggles with addiction. Combined with a 12-step program, I found many benefits within the practice that helped me deepen my recovery and overcome anxiety. Through Yoga and Meditation, I found self-love and self-acceptance. I was able to connect with my true nature and I believe that this is attainable for everyone.

I spent time as an Addictions Counselor at a local treatment center before deciding to become a stay at home mom with the birth of my first child. Now I am a mother of two wonderful sons, Levi and Finley, and continued to practice with them. I have practiced many forms of Yoga including hot, power, prenatal, baby and me, gentle, and more. After developing a strong personal practice, I wanted to share the amazing benefits of Yoga with others. I decided to enter a teacher training program with St. Petersburg Yoga and acquired 150 hours. I then went on to complete my training with Pat Setley of Jade Yoga School.
